BOARDS - MILLBOARD
Non asbestos Millboard made from mineral wool fibre with inorganic binders. Millboard has good mechanical strength and can be sawn, drilled. When wet, Millboard can be moulded to shape to suit particular applications.

ARMASIL ® AR Series also an essential pure Silica but has a special protective coating making it more abrasion resistant. AR series is designed for welding purposes and protection and has great seam strength. AR fabrics are excellent for fabricating such as welding blankets, insulation pads and curtains.

Armasil ® AS18-600 Cloth, Armasil ® AS36-1200 ClothARMASIL ® Fabrics are a continuous filament, amorphous Silica product which when chemically treated result in essential pure Silica. The AS series is designed to provide thermal insulation for extreme temperatures. It is an excellent product for heat treating, insulation blankets furnace curtains and stress relieving pads.

Continuous Operating Temperature: 538° c
Note: Vermiculite will provide stability to the fabric up to 815° c

REWETTABLE
Rewettable is a fiberglass fabric with a built in adhesive, completely inorganic, that impregnates the fabric throughout. The adhesive materials are water dispersable and the inorganic composition reduces chances of fire to practically zero. Application is simple, lagging is dipped in water and applied.
Continuous Operating Temperature: 538° c

Suggested Welding Applications:
- Lagging elbows, pipes and joints
- Valve covers
- Turbo Covers
- Stress Relieving Pads

Continuous Operating Temperature: 260°c
This is the limit of silicone Fibreglass will remain stable to 538° c

Excellent product for pads and cover fabrication where water, oil and weather resistance is needed.

Suggested Welding Applications:
- Drop cloths over equipment, floors
- Expansion joints
- Excellent choice for situations where fabrics must be moved frequently or where workers must walk, sit or lay on fabric
- Heat shield
- Good vertical spark protection such as a curtain
- Flexible connectors

Fibreglass fabric with a layer of Aluminium Foil laminated on to one side. ARMAGLAS AL2025 is recommended for vapour barriers. Reflective curtains, spray shield for flanges on board ships.

ARMAGLAS KEVLAR KV17 Cloth
Kevlar is exceptionally rugged fabric that stands up to abrasive, high heat environments without sacrificing strength, thermal protection or dimensional stability. Kevlar is chemical and mildew resistant and is suitable for welding blankets, hose covering and kneeling pads.

Armasil sleeving can be manufactured to any size and length to suit any application. Silica sleeving is designed to provide thermal insulation for extreme temperatures. This is an ideal product to cover hydraulic hose.

Braided tubing manufactured from bulk fibreglass yarn
Can also be supplied with a silicon coating to provide abrasion resistance.

ARMASIL AT Tapes have the same characteristics as the A Series with pressure sensitive adhesive backing. The tape is designed for extreme temperatures and is used to protect hydraulic hoses, motor and electric cables.

TEMPMAT is a mechanically bonded glass fiber insulating blanket in grades of 12mm (1/2 “) & 25 mm (1”) for applications up to 650° c (1200° F). Manufactured entirely of long textile glass fibers. Tempmat assures insulation efficiency during extended exposure of elevated temperatures. An ideal product for removable pads, ship turbines and muffler insulation.

Fibreglass rope lagging consists of continuous glass fibre which is encased with a cover of open braided fibreglass yarn.
Applications include pipe lagging & caulking for door seals

Fibreglass seals are manufactured from a dry high bulk resistant core, overbraided with glass yarn.
Seals are available in - Square, Round & Rectangular sections.
Various densities are available to suit most applications.
They are incombustable, have low thermal conductivity and Suitable fot temperatures up to 550°c.
